These terms are the agreement between you and REGICODE LTD ("we", "us") for Mutelands, our game for Android (Google
Play package com.regicode.mutelands). By installing or playing the game you accept them; if you don't, please don't
play it. How we handle personal data is explained in the privacy policy.
1. Who we are
REGICODE LTD, Strovolou 77, Strovolos Center, Flat/Office 301, 2018 Strovolos, Nicosia, Cyprus; VAT CY60208702X. Email: support@mutelands.com.
2. The game
Mutelands is a single-player game you can play offline. It is free to download, and it offers optional purchases (section 4) and optional rewarded ads (section 5). It has no accounts: your progress is saved on your phone.
Mutelands is made for adults (18 and over).
Beta versions are test versions. They may contain bugs, their features and balance may change, and their purchases may be simulated, in which case nothing is charged.
3. Your licence to play
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install Mutelands on devices you own or control and to play it for your own, non-commercial use, under these terms and the Google Play Terms of Service. The game, its code, art, sound, story and names belong to us or to our licensors; the licence doesn't transfer any of them to you.
Except where the law allows it, you may not copy, sell, rent or distribute the game; decompile it, reverse engineer it or extract its code or assets; or make, share or use cheats, bots or modified versions of it.
4. Purchases
- Through Google Play. Purchases use Google Play's billing system, and the Google Play Terms of Service apply to the payment. The game shows the price Google lists, taxes included where they apply.
- What you buy are looks, conveniences and tips: digital content for use in the game. It has no value in money, can't be exchanged for money and can't be passed to another player. Weapons, supplies, storage and progress are never for sale.
- Restoring. Everything you buy except tips stays on your Google account. The game gives it back at every start, after a reinstall or on a new phone with the same Google account; Shop > Restore asks again.
- Right of withdrawal. If you are a consumer in the EU, you can normally withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. For digital content delivered at once, Google Play asks at checkout for your consent to immediate delivery and your acknowledgement that you then lose that right. This doesn't affect your rights if something you bought is faulty or isn't delivered (section 7).
- Refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policy. If Google can't help, write to us with your order number.
5. Rewarded ads
Ads are optional: you choose to watch a short video for a small bonus in the game. They come from Google AdMob; the privacy policy explains the data they use and how to change your consent. We can't promise that an ad, and so its bonus, is always available.
6. Your save and changes to the game
Your save is on your phone and we keep no copy of it. Deleting the game's data or uninstalling the game deletes your progress for good; purchases come back from Google Play (section 4).
We may update the game to fix problems, keep it working and add content, and an update may change how it plays. We won't change what you bought in a way that takes away what it was sold for, unless the law or the security of the game requires it. If we stop offering the game, we will say so in advance on Google Play.
7. Warranty
We make the game with care, but we provide it as it is: we can't promise that it is free of bugs or that it runs on every device. If you are a consumer, you keep your legal guarantee that the game and what you buy in it conform to their description (in the EU, Directive (EU) 2019/770 as applied in your country): if something doesn't work as described, tell us and we will fix it or, where the law provides, refund you.
8. Our liability
We are liable without limit for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, and wherever the law doesn't allow a limit. Otherwise, as far as the law allows, we are liable only for damage that was foreseeable when you accepted these terms, and not for business losses, for loss caused by your device, network or other apps, or for loss of game data you could have avoided. Nothing in these terms limits the rights that consumer law gives you.
9. Ending
You can stop at any time by uninstalling the game. If you seriously break these terms, for example by distributing cheats, we may end your licence as the law allows.
10. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Cyprus. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim before the courts of that country or of Cyprus. Before going to court, please write to us: most problems are solved by email.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the game or the law changes. We will change the date above and announce significant changes in the game's release notes on Google Play. A change never applies to purchases already made.
